way4safety – the app for lone workers
The way4safety app turns an Android smartphone into a personal emergency signal device – for employees who work alone and out of sight of colleagues. Alarms come together in the way4safety Portal and, on request, are forwarded to a control centre.
Alerting

Voluntary alarm via the red emergency button in the app or via an additional hardware button on the smartphone.
Automatic alarms
Involuntary alarms triggered by position, no movement, time-out and man down, optionally by fall and impact.
Dual alerting
Alarms are sent via data and/or SMS to the way4safety Portal, and a voice connection is established in parallel.
Tracking and operation
Outdoor tracking
Position via GPS/GNSS – immediately visible in the portal in the event of an alarm.

How an alarm works
1. Trigger
The employee presses the emergency button – or the app itself detects position, no movement, time-out or man down.
2. Transmit
The alarm is sent with the position via data and/or SMS to the way4safety Portal, and a voice connection is established at the same time.
3. Respond
Contacts in the company or a control centre see the alarm and position and initiate help.
4. Control centre
On request, forwarding to partner control centres via AM/Win, SEON and evalink, or to the alarm receiving centre (ARC) of our partner WSH GmbH.
